François Alambret is a seasoned employment law partner, advising corporations and senior executives on the full spectrum of complex and strategic workforce matters.
With over 20 years’ experience, he delivers high-level, commercially driven advice to French and international clients, supporting them in navigating sensitive workplace issues, managing risk exposure and implementing efficient, forward-looking HR strategies.

François combines day-to-day advisory work with a strong track record in transformational transactions and critical restructuring projects, including large-scale workforce reorganisations, redundancy plans, collective agreements renegotiations and cross-border transfers of employees. He is particularly valued for his ability to align legal solutions with business imperatives in high-stakes environments.

Having spent more than a decade within leading international law firms, François has developed a recognised expertise in advising multinational groups and foreign subsidiaries operating in France. He assists clients at every stage of their business lifecycle, from market entry and operational structuring to complex downsizing or exit strategies.
In addition to his advisory practice, François is an experienced litigator, regularly representing clients before labour and criminal courts in sensitive and high-profile disputes. His work includes matters involving discrimination, harassment, collective redundancies and industrial action, where strategic positioning and reputational considerations are paramount.

He also advises on the defence of companies and senior management in relation to workplace accidents, regulatory investigations and obstruction offences, bringing together employment, compliance and criminal law considerations.

Over recent years, François has built a strong reputation in internal investigations and compliance frameworks, including the design and implementation of whistleblowing systems and the conduct of complex internal inquiries involving harassment allegations, conflicts of interest, fraud, corruption and other misconduct.

Working closely with white-collar crime specialists, he offers clients a fully integrated approach, ensuring consistency and efficiency in the handling of multi-dimensional, cross-practice matters, where employment and criminal risks intersect.
