A Practice Note providing an overview of the phases of copyright litigation in France.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This Note discusses the French legal regime and court system, the parties to the litigation, copyright infringement claims and defenses, fact and use of experts, trial procedure, including pre-trial and post-trial motions, remedies, both preliminary and final, and appeal. It also explores how to address these issues and provides measures to manage the associated risks.
